I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really proceeding.
